Bring Events to Life as a Special Events Volunteer
Special Events Volunteers support a variety of events hosted by the Lincoln Park Conservancy (LPC) and its partners. Volunteers play an important role in creating a welcoming and organized experience for attendees.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with attendee check-in
- Event setup and breakdown
- Answering event questions
- Providing general event support

How do I become a Special Event volunteer?
To become a special event volunteer, please submit an application above. If selected, the volunteer coordinator will reach out to schedule an interview.
What kind of events would I be able to volunteer for?
As a Special Event Volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to support a variety of programs hosted by the Lincoln Park Conservancy and our partners. These include after-hours experiences at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, the LPC Annual Gala, Earth Day, seasonal celebrations, and more.
How often are special events held?
The number of programs held each year varies. While these opportunities are not typically monthly, we generally host at least five annually, including Earth Day, Public Lands Day, the Winter and Spring Flower Shows, and the Annual Gala. Additional volunteer opportunities may also arise through partnerships and collaborations.
