The 2023 Gala for Lincoln Park was an outstanding evening for the Conservancy and the park! Along with nearly 300 guests at the Saddle and Cycle Club, we reflected on our past work, celebrated current progress, and shared big dreams for the future. The event grossed more than $300,000 to support our commitment to past projects, as we better more parts of Lincoln Park for its neighbors and visitors.

Thank you to our generous sponsors, donors and in-kind donors, in-person guests, and those who participated virtually to support Chicago’s largest and most visited park. Thanks also to our Board and Gala Committee–especially Gala Chair Kelly Small–for making the event a smashing success. Special thanks are owed to ABC7 News anchor Tanja Babich for kicking off our paddle raise with her heartfelt Lincoln Park story, to former alderpersons Michele Smith and Tom Tunney for their ongoing support, and to new alderpersons Timmy Knudsen (43rd), Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth (48th), and Angela Clay (46th) for coming to show their support for the park that brings so much to our city.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Gala, when we’ll celebrate our 40th anniversary as the nonprofit champion for Lincoln Park. We can’t wait to see you there!
