Forest Bathing Walk at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool

Join Jane Wandless, Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and founder of JEM Nature & Forest Therapy, for a one-hour guided forest bathing walk at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in the summer. And this year, we are excited to announce a second forest bathing walk in the autumn, so you can experience the seasons in a whole new way.
Forest bathing is the practice of moving mindfully and slowly through nature, inviting the senses to fully experience the sights, sounds, textures, and scents of the environment. Backed by extensive research, forest bathing has been shown to help reduce stress, lower blood pressure, ease anxiety, and foster a profound sense of calm and well-being.
During this walk, Jane will guide you through a series of gentle sensory invitations to help you slow down and reconnect to yourself and the natural world. You’ll move at an easy, unhurried pace – no hiking or strenuous activity required.
No experience is needed – this is a welcoming space for all. Come as you are, and leave feeling rested, reconnected, and renewed.
The Lily Pool will be closed to the public until 9:30 AM, providing a private, tranquil setting for this experience. The main entrance on Fullerton Ave will close at 8:40 AM to preserve this quiet space.
