Ecological stewardship goes beyond gardening—EcoStewards help support healthier habitats by participating in a variety of hands‑on fieldwork activities in Lincoln Park.
Stewardship Activities Include
- Removing nuisance weeds
- Planting wildflowers
- Collecting, cleaning, and sowing seeds
- Recording ecological data through BioBlitzes
Skills and Requirements
- No prior experience needed
- Closed-toed shoes required when volunteering
- Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older
