2022 Volunteer Appreciation

We had a wonderful time at the Volunteer Appreciation event on August 27th. Docents, greeters, North Pond gardeners and Champions, and Conservancy staff old and new gathered for an old-fashioned summertime picnic on the Conservatory lawn. We hosted around 40 people to nosh, socialize and enjoy raffle prizes in celebration of our work caring for Chicago’s largest park. After several years during which large-scale gatherings have been a challenge, it was special to come together again in-person.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and to all of the 2022 volunteers who have given time to enhance the park with the Lincoln Park Conservancy. We appreciate your contributions, and are grateful to have such a big, dedicated volunteer family!
