Admission: Free

Hours of Operation
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. Outdoor L.C. Gardens are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. everyday. Please Note: The Conservatory will be closed on November 25 and December 23 and December 30.

Public Transportation
CTA bus service on the 151 Sheridan and 156 LaSalle routes stop near the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool at Fullerton Parkway & Stockton Drive.





Parking
Public parking is available for $13 a day in the lot directly behind the Conservatory. The lot entrance is on Stockton Drive just south of Fullerton.

Free Docent Tours
Volunteer docents are on-site year round every Friday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to Noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Private or group tours are available by appointment, please call the Lincoln Park Conservancy office at (773) 883-PARK.

Handicapped Accessibility
The Lincoln Park Conservatory building is handicapped accessible except for the sunken Fern Room.

Two wheelchairs are available for your convenience while visiting the conservatory, but must remain within the building. Wheelchair rentals are free and on a first-come, first-served basis. Wheelchair rental requires a credit card or driver's license, which will be held for deposit until the wheelchair is returned.

Visitor Etiquette
While visiting the Lincoln Park Conservatory & Gardens, please:

  • Stay on the public paths.
  • Do not pick flowers or touch the plants.
  • Do not eat or bring food into the conservatory (crumbs attract bugs).
  • Do not feed the fish, they are on a controlled diet.
  • Do not throw coins into the pools (coins are harmful to the fish).
  • Supervise your children so everyone may enjoy their conservatory visit.
